I got an email from one of the Brewers at westbrook and he said they use a about 10% rye, a little white wheat, a little munich and the rest is 2 row. The hops are Nelson and Citra. And the yeast is standard English ale.

Does the carawheat give off the same sweetness as C40? How are they similar? How are they different? Thnx

Has anyone heard of or tried saving all of their hops for dry hop only? Maybe only adding a bittering addition. If so, would love to hear stories and experiences. What to expect?

I think .50lb dark munich will be better. I do like to enjoy my pale ales and ipas young.

What would be the cause for a 90 minute boil with pilsner malt? And all I have is dark munich. It's 15.5L. Should I decrease the amount? I don't like overly malty pale ales

Why are refractometers not good to measure final gravity?

That makes sense. Almost all of my previous beers have conditioned in a week so I just assumed this one would too. This was my first double ipa.
