I'm guilty of this. My only defense is you still need ideas on the amounts. I found one recently based on a commercial beer using pilsner and mosaic. Sounded great but wasn't something I considered.

nowadays that'd be true. but the legends of yore show that billy the berry puncher once brewed the freshest ipa ever made. while that could very well be truly a myth, i choose to believe the knowledge passed down from our forbears.
