Bottling complete. Time for a sandwich and a beer. One of my favorite sandwiches - roast pork with spinach* sautéed in evoo and tons of garlic, topped with provolone cheese on a toasted ciabatta roll.

*I prefer broccoli rabe but I couldn't find it at the store earlier.

I have the same set of pint glasses.

Chicken wings have gotten crazy expensive at the grocery so I'll be taking Buffalo Drumsticks to the Super Bowl party this weekend...

I hope they turn out OK!

Going old school!

Pretty sure I was the only person in here that speaks English. Not cooking but shopping for the big game tomorrow which may be Gronks last. Everything in here is in polish.

Also. I guess I missed the big beef in energy drinks with Bobby Vinton vs. Mike Tyson

Perogies and kielbasa!!!

Mom is coming over tomorrow with wings and stuff for guac. She wants me to make some in the mortar and pestle. Going to smoke a ham too. I agree, I have heard everyone rave so much about costco meat, here too. But the prime filets at Christmas were meh. The sams beef on the other hand is outstanding. We have been members for years but havent gone in years. Recently going back the filet for 12 or 13 what ever it is, is stellar. The ground beef too. I remain impressed.
Havent done a lot of cooking, had tacos and hamburgers last week but nothing to great. Hope everyones superbowl snacks turn out awesome.

I bought these mangoes for hot sauce, but I've got too much jarred hot sauce already. So last night I made a mousse with them. Food processor, gelatin, let it set, fold in some cream, yummers. I did the same thing last week with strawberries. Bananas next :) Seems like we always have ripe bananas that need a final resting place.
