The book is far better. I'm sure I would have enjoyed the movie had I not read the book first, but I ended up just being disappointed with the entire thing.

Season 2 of House of Cards is good, but I can't stand Claire's story arc so far. Perhaps it's because I can't stand her character. Best moment so far was seeing Zoe get hers.
