I made an all grain pale ale with a OG of 1.060. It was placed into two better bottles at 67degrees and one pack of 1056 was put into each bottle.

Fermentation started within 12 hours with nice activity and krausen. It has been one week now and usually I am really close to my FG at this time (within 4 - 6 points) but today I took a gravity reading and it was 1.030.

I have been fermenting at a constant 66 degrees. I bumped the temp up to 70 which is still within the strains range to see if I could rouse the yeast.

Any other thoughts, suggestions, just have patience?

Cheers,

Dave

Give it a nice swirl too when you up the temp to rouse the yeast and get more in suspension...I just had the same thing with 3944, slow for a week, hadn't hit FG, swirled and upped temp and it went crazy
