Looking for a place to purchase this product. If there's is a similar, less expensive alternative, I'm all ears.

Also, what's the dilution ratio for cleaning a pH probe and how long can I store a batch of solution once mixed?

Appreciate any help you can provide.

Update: I just purchased 1 Liter from Cole Parmer.

I didn't realize Cole Parmer is the distributor and International Products Corporation is the manufacturer.

Diluted Solution Shelf Life:
Cole Parmer recommended the diluted solution be used within a couple of days or the pH could shift.

IPC told me they could not predict shelf life but to check the pH for decreased by 1 full pH unit, which could mean the solution may be weakening.

Would love to hear what AJ's experience has been with regards to storing diluted solution.

The first Zymit I ever encountered was a free sample that came in a Cole Parmer order. It was about 8 Oz and I had it for several years before it started to turn dark and I tossed it. For use they recommend 1 - 2% solution so I just pipet a cc or 2 into 100 mL of water and throw it out when finished. At this rate you can see why 8 Oz lasted me a long time.

After first introducing it CP's minimum order was a case of liter bottles and as it is quite expensive I never ordered any. Eventually they started selling it by the liter (quart) and that, while still fairly dear, makes it feasible.

Excellent. Thanks AJ.

I always appreciate your input.
