One of my favourite beers of all time.

They also had Severn Boar on but I don't think a 6.2% IPA is the best choice given I've got to drive home afterwards.

They did, or rather do, yes. It's a seasonal, I think late November through to New Year.

I grew up in Uley so I've always had a great affection for their beers, as well as consuming a truly absurd quantity between the ages of 16 and about 22.

Thanks I haven't had a pint of that this century, only times were in the Highbury Vaults in Bristol.
In those days it seemed to be a very hoppy aromatic golden ale?
Might not be regarded as aromatic these days.

As long as I've known Pigor it's always been a ruby red winter ale.

I haven't been to the Vaults in years. Really should go back, though my best mate (who is Bristol based) lives out Clifton way so we tend to default to the Whitmore or Jersey Lily.
