Hi guys. I'm the guy opening Muckraker. If anyone wants to try our beer, invite me out to a share and I'll bring some with me and answer any questions, etc...

Did you use to write for NJ.com? Good luck , concept sounds awesome. Can’t wait to try the beers!

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm actually an editor there. Luckily I work 2-10, so I have plenty of time in the morning! The space is great. There is this second-floor loft that has these two high windows right across from each other, and the whole property is surrounded by woods. I can't wait to get a coolship going up there.

Better not let the Let's Talk people know you're affiliated with Genovese lol.

I’ll be in Wildwood from Thursday till Monday morning.

Anyone want to bang? Srs.

No.
does anyone know anything about this brewer? https://www.facebook.com/MuckrakerBeer

love the idea and descriptions of those beers, but hard to buy into a members' club without knowing if the beers will be decent :p
I just saw that on my FB feed. I was about to ask the same question.
There have been a few posts in the NJ Facebook Group about them. A few folks said that they have had the beer and it is top notch. Apparently the owner is very willing to answer questions and share beer with those interested.

So Troncone already posted here, but I'll say this: Tom brought a beer to our share last year. 40 people, all kinds of bottles from Side Project to Loons to whatever else I had before I got shitcanned.

For most of us, his berliner was one of our top 3 beers of the day. Srs.

Various glass vessels of spontaneous beer available this weekend.

I read one of those beers as

Any South Jersey heads going to Conclave today or Saturday? I really want to get some of the pilsner, but I have a short leash until Sunday.

Please?

Anyone going to be at Kane this afternoon and have some extra 1000th Batch Head High from last week? I’ll be there around 12:30-1ish with various odds and ends cans, getting crickets on my trade post on the other site

Because I don’t really understand east coast geography, I’ve got a night in New Jersey before driving up to Vermont tomorrow. Staying in Princeton (I think, or near there). I did a cursory search through this thread but didn’t find anything too recent. Any suggestions for good bars to hit? Or even local distro beers (Kane)?

Depending on where in Princeton you are staying The Referend Bier Blendery is like 15min away. There is also a nice Thai place nearby. They have great beer at the Referend and can help recommend various food places. Just down the road from them is a bar/restaurant where they have Kane and other craft beers on tap along with a good food menu. Firkin Tavern, the bar side gets pretty rowdy at night but the pub side is chill
