New Jersey Another LHBS closed: Philly Homebrew Outlet

Sad to see another shop gone. Inventory was ok for standard stuff, seems like they closed in the last week or 2. Since I've started brewing in 2022, lost Keg & Barrel, Eastern Homebrew, Philly Homebrew Oaklyn, Philly Homebrew West. I think the closest places to Philly-NJ suburbs are now Fermented NJ in Hammonton, then Keystone Homebrew and Love2Brew. I do try to buy things local but when I don't, they don't have what's needed, or it's something tiny and not worth the time/gas. Will miss picking the brains of John, Fish, and the others learning what I can on my lunch breaks.

I believe that you can order items from Philly Homebrew Outlet in Philly and you can pick it up next to their old location in Oaklyn at Tonewood Brewing… or did the Philly store close down, too?

You could, but not any more. Website is shut off and phone is down.

They sent out an email saying March 11 was the day they were closing shop.
Sad to hear. And I was planning to head there this week for a few things.

Is the shop in Oaklyn still there?

I don't live in the area anymore but used to stop in there every once in a while.

No that closed Dec 2022, for multiple reasons.
