I haven't. I don't really make it down that way TBH

you mean Kung Fu? i've been and its delicious!

I used to be down a lot when I was selling beer and had accounts in the area, I don't remember Kung Fu. Don't make it there as much anymore but ramen gives me as much a reason as anything haha.

Because I don’t really understand east coast geography, I’ve got a night in New Jersey before driving up to Vermont tomorrow. Staying in Princeton (I think, or near there). I did a cursory search through this thread but didn’t find anything too recent. Any suggestions for good bars to hit? Or even local distro beers (Kane)?
So you are in nj now? Or tomorrow?

Kane has a keg of Fifth on today for samples (as well as a bunch of the past anniversary beers).

But mostly Fifth.

Argh. Heading down to South Jersey today but the route is such that it perfectly splits Kane and Conclave in a way that I won't be able to convince the family to make a detour for either.

Zzzzzzz. What's going on? Almost two weeks with nothing in here

You released Trees of Green cans and I couldn't get any...thanks Tim.

We'll be riding the coattails of the wordsmiths down the road by releasing 2017 harvest Berliner Messe: Alleluiavers this Saturday.

Fully pilsner weather right now, but I will be exceedingly grateful to anyone who tips me off to the finest of local impending marzen/festbiers.

So I COULD get some and Trees of Green was great! Took some, along with some Referend and Equilibrium stuff to a bottle/can share in Somerville last weekend and everyone raved about the Trees of Green. Referend was of course also well-received. There are a lot of releases and other things going on here but maybe everyone’s away on vacation?

Why do you always do this to me James? I have my fantasy draft Sat. Gonna have to make a mad dash!

Not really local to us but Ramstein is putting out their Oktoberfest very soon..

kettle soured lambic style?

They backed off on that wording.

A buddy of mine knows the head brewer and we were actually talking about it last night. Said they used "lambic style" because when they were tasting it the beer had like a De Cam Nectarine vibe going on.

err.. based on the other one it looked like they were trying to justify it... I hope they got to get it off of the labels in time. Either way, I hope they learned their lesson and perhaps educate themselves a bit better as a brewery.

How often do US brewers use lambic or lambic style in their language?

ANTEAD lottery this Tuesday on Eventbrite. Only bourbon and rye variant this year.

Don't log this as a complaint, because it isn't one (there will be plenty of those on Facebook), but I'm wondering why they decided to go with two separate sales at the same time instead of the lottery?

Isn't a lottery less likely to result in any sort of a shitshow or issues? Is this like an attempt to spread the wealth a little more to people that are ok with spending $50 on high-test candy water instead of $75?

Anyway, since I'm here--JulianB, can I look forward to your annual trolling of Kane locals on Facebook?

Oh, I'm so happy they went this way. Even though I've been very lucky with Kane releases, I derive way more pleasure reading the FB comments than drinking the actual beer.

This is one of the few things that tempts me to even temporarily reactivate my FB account, but nah I'll leave it to someone else.
