Haven't smoked many lanceros. Should I have expected a stiff draw to start off?

Should smoke like any other cigar. Lanceros take more skill to roll because of the rg but you can get a tight one every so often. Tat original brown band is one of the best IMO. Box worthy. You may have a knot to smoke through before it opens up. Try gently rolling it with your fingers to loosen it up.

Seemed to loosen up pretty quickly without intervention. Maybe still a little stiff, but now I'm really being picky.

RH has been a little high in the humidor, so that's probably to blame.

Really enjoyable cigar though. Might have been the coffee roasting and beer, but lots of different flavors and smells. Pepper, some slightly sweet notes, cocoa, wood, and others I can't quite put my finger on.

How does the black honey compare to the la colmena? I wasn't wow'd by the la colmena I had the other night.

I haven't tried the black honey yet, I've heard they don't compare and that the black honey needs to rest. Did you have the 44? I was completely blown away by the one I had yesterday and we had just gotten them in the day before so they were pretty much rott

Haven't had the 44. Picked up a few warped to sample but most purchases have been elsewhere. Nice to have a b&m at your disposal for sampling.
