Brewhardware order - new 16g Wilser bag, some potassium metabisulphite, and Azacca hops (new to me, wanna see how they taste/smell).

Same here, just got some of these to try. There are SO many new ones, I don't know how anybody keeps up.

I know. I am still putting together my mental taste library of the traditional, go to standards. Like I rediscovered centennial last year. Forgot how good it was. That said, I love the variety. Last year my favorite hop discovery was Magnum. Still haven't tried Azzaca .. soon.

OOpps, just walked out to a mailbox fulla hops rhizomes and such from BuyHopsRhizomes.com. I ordered these in December and forgot all about them.

I have 1 bag of B grade mixed unidentified rhizomes (I'm guessing about 20 in there)
1 grower kits(comes with 5 cascade roots,5 paper twine, and 5 clips)
4 Centennial rhizomes plus an additional jumbo centennial
1 jumbo Nugget rhizome


I have not had any luck growing hops here in gulf coast TX because we are south of the preferred range, so this is my last attempt. I concentrated on the "C" (Centennial, Cascade) varieties of hops and Nugget because I was told they do a little better in this climate.

New lid and upgraded grain tube for the mash and boil from williams brewing. Some gaskets, orings, and the extra fat corny keg lid gasket. Got a free tumbler and cup for spending $140.

I use the indicator tape for yeast propagation, syringes, needles, etc. I have had problems with leaking equipment in the past, so the indicator tape is cheap visual insurance for me.

Stout Spout for my NukaTap. I don't have beer gas or nitrogen, but even without they greate a great effect in English style beers. One of the participants at my homebrew club had one one NukaTap Mini with a dark mild and it poured a beautiful pint, so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon...

Are you going to use a bag for the cask or set up some type of rebreather? It looks like a great cask option.

40 lb pilsner Select
25 lb 2 row
35 lb Baird's Maris Otter
30 lb Golden Promise
10 lb Munich (light)
+ A roasted malt
7 lb breis chocolate

Plus 8 packs each of 34/70, US-05, and Nottingham. And yeast nutrient, whirlfloc tablets. This should cover me for a few months maybe.

I've got a rebreather which I will use.

Currently I'm working on a Burton " union " using a firkin as the barrel.
Getting the SS trays and pipework and connections ordered. Some specifics of the way the system works are a little confusing given the limited information. But I think I've got my head around it. Will update.

I don't need the smart tag, I know where cask is ( once it arrives).
Plus I use raspberry pints with flow meters so this tells me how much used and is left in the keg or cask.

Silver for Leichtbier from Brew Battle in TX and a bronze from same for the Best Beer name category, for the same beer, which was "This beer had a name, but DOGE cut it". The Sugar Skulls are sweet! And two bronze from Spirit of Free Beer in MD for my doppelbock and American blonde.
