4 stainless steel air stones with 1/4 inch diameter barb fittings arrived today for sparging/aeration. I figured they would be a bit easier than the stone ones to sanitize .

Going to try fermenting occasional small batches in 5 gallon corny kegs and serving from the Oxebar kegs.

1 refractometer arrived today. I had one for beekeeping to ascertain water in honey but it wasn't the correct scale for brewing.
It was time to restock.
Lutra Kviek Yeast came today.
2 EVA Dry 333 mini dehumidifiers came today. I was going to use them in my FC.
5lbs of Munich light from Rightbrew. Going to plan another Altbier with some adjustments on the grain bill. I have the rest of the grains.
4 head 1000X LED Microscope and free optics cleaning kit arrived today from Home Science Tools

https://www.homesciencetools.com/ for my home office lab. I use that company alot for my home office lab needs. Sometimes they are the cheapest (especially if you catch the sales and use your points), so I always include them in the quoting process. They supply to homeschoolers, (of which there are a plethora in Texas) one of whom shared the company info with me. I bought separatory funnels etc., and enough organic glassware from them to set up a Hawkeye Pierce/Trapper John still like they had in that TV series M.A.S.H. I'll have to do that someday and snap a photo.
I know sooner or later I'll be breaking out the soxhlet extractor to extract essential oils from plants for use in brewing/distilling. It's only a matter of time. You guys are a bad influence.

Was expecting multiple things in the mail for brewing, but nothing came because the mailman didn't have a chainsaw on the mail truck. I'm sure glad I made a pre Hurricane beer run. We're trapped in the neighborhood but have beer so no worries.

Some John Guest fittings to allow me to down-size from the 3/8" of my gas line to the 5/16" of my inline regulator inside my keg. Of course I didn't check to see if I needed to down-size before I took a knife to the lines...

Most of this came today. I had an adapter already ordered and received from somewhere I forget. The valve came from Amazon and the rest can be had at Brewhardware. I like that the stone is generic replaceable and the whole cost was about $45. Very long on the outside. Could be changed/shortened by using a typical gas ball lock check valve. You'd need a flare union off the tc fitting. I liked the little 1/4 NPT SS valve better. We'll see how often I gash my knee on it!

1 heat wrap for my fermenting chamber (I have the freezer hooked to an inklbird but wanted the heat wrap for the fall/winter).

3 packs of US05. One for an amber ale this fall, the other two just to have on hand.
Brewzilla sparge/wort aeration head. A bargain at £6
10# Barke Munich and 10# Barke Pilsner malts.
That's a great choice! I've owned that bottling tree. For me, I use the vinator (I'm assuming what you call the bottle washer) as a sanitizer so I wash the bottles in the sink and use a bottle brush. Then when I'm ready to sanitize I used the vinator that I see in your pic to sanitize. A package from ritebrew.com: assorted packets of dried yeast, including WB-06 which I've never used but been curious about. A pound of Baird medium crystal malt, a pound of citric acid, a gross of bottle caps, and a pound of powdered gelatin (mostly for making birdseed blocks)
Adapt and carry on....

First thought was monks are celibate... Took a long time for me to getting to calling a man of the cloth "Father".
There's quite a difference between celibate in spirit and celibate in practice...
Very fair point, but Monks in a monastery tend to make me err on the side of celibate in practice(in my head). Other leaders of religions I have no preconceived expectations of celibacy.
