No excuses...I just like it.
I've always liked Alan Parsons. A version of Sirius/Breakaway from the World Liberty Concert was the first song I ever put on my iPod and it one of the few songs that's still there all these years later.
I have a ton of Alan Parsons stories, for another time.
That's a great video and of course the amazing Candy Dulfer can blow my sax anytime. Breakaway is from the Try Anything Once album, one of my favorite cds to listen to with headphones.
I believe that was the same event that the Project played the elusive White Dawn instrumental. I think it's since been released as part of a box set though.
This might fall into the embarrassing category but I've always liked the theme song to the movie "Patton". Not sure why but it has stuck with me since seeing the movie back in 1970.
Which inevitably leads me down the rabbit hole to the music that was played in my house when I was a kid.
Someone said Sax..
Live from Daryl's House is always on theme! Not sure this quite fits the theme but I like organ and sax...
Hints of Chopin in that one. It actually inspired a few minutes at the piano. Love to play in c-min and g-min.This might or might not knock your socks off. There's a light drizzle outside the garage, I'm kegging four carboys to kegs, smoke from nag champa is wafting around. Loving it!
Seen that before and totally in awe. Took me 6months to build a static kitchen, cant imagine the engineering time in that machine. This probably falls into the "embarrassing" category but, while the song might never make the Billboard charts, the method by which it was made is kind of cool.
Grandkids in charge....actually pretty well done tune.
True! My oldest boy, 1 loved it. Ariel was pretty hot so never minded watching. That brings back some memories. My daughter was 4 when the movie came out and I think we saw it three times in the theater And it came out on VHS just before her 5th birthday so we had to have that too.

This is awesome if no one has heard of this. Some special people out there in the world...
Listen to me, I cannot see clearly...
