What do you want? It's a pandemic, watching golf and hot as hell. Hamburgers haven't defrosted. I'm having dessert

Most of my group are heavy Busch drinkers. A few are helping me out at a house with cleaning and minor fixing, so I grabbed a couple cases of that for the pickier dudes. I hadn’t bought one in years and didn’t know they had that damn corn cob design now and I wandered around the store for like 15minutes looking for it. First time I’ve ever had to ask for help in a liquor store...

I actually don’t mind drinking Busch Light. It was what all my buddies drank after work when we used to get together every night years ago. I’ve drank gallons and gallons of it.
This combine is parked at our local John Deere dealer right now . What do you think @grampamark ?

Busch Light is the state IPA of Nebraska.

That picture is fkn amazing.
When I moved to the next town over, my beer allegiance switched from Busch to a local lager (August Schell's). Like 80% of this town drinks it and its the ONLY thing my father in law will drink, so it was easier to just have that on hand and I turned out loving it. That was all pre-homebrewing, so I still keep a case of schells around, but still drink a lot of Busch light at friends houses. Its insane how quickly it goes down after a few years of enjoying heavier lagers and more flavorful ales.

My old man wouldn't have approved though. All my family's tractors had to be red. Pretty sure I have a pair of uncles that still spit out the window when they pass a John Deere implement...
A lot of farmers are VERY loyal to certain colors of equipment. I drive a fuel delivery truck for our local Farmer’s COOP and I see it everywhere I go. I even have a customer who named his first son Case.

Farmers make the world go 'round. No Prime Minister, President or Dictator has that. My Grandfather was a Farmer, rotated his crops, took great care to create business in the town, and made sure everyone was taken care of. Not sure how we can farm in cities, but I grow my hops~!~!

I think it’s green. Our farm is mostly red. We do have 3 old John Deere tractors, 2 4020s and a 4430. Those make good utility tractors and are pretty cheap. Deere has become less innovative over the years. They either copy someone else’s design with just enough changes to avoid patent infringement, or just buy out a smaller company that designed something new, different, and useful. The company’s large, and very loyal, fan base insures their continuing success, even if Deere doesn’t really come up with anything truly new. That, and the company’s very prudent decision, years ago, to become a major player in the consumer lawn and garden market. When you can buy green lawn mowers at Home Depot it says a lot about how mass market oriented Deere has become.

Why is that? You don't care for neipa's, or didn't think you would? Just curious.

they don't LOOK appealing at all. looks like a pint of yeast starter

I ordered it because it was our first date night in Phase 2 & I wanted to order local. Aslin Beer Co is <2 miles from the restaurant. they're known for their unfiltered beer

it was meh. looks like a glass of milk+OJ, smelled OK, tasted decent, mouthfeel was chewy

& yes, "BUT IT'S SO JUICY!" like that makes up for the fact I just drank a glass of floured beer
