Hell no! All yankee fans there and it’s too hot. Sounds like hell for a Mets fan

Well, I'm a six decade Yankee fan and would love to be there today to see one of my favorite baseball players ever be enshrined into the HoF. But to be honest I was talking about Cooperstown Brewing and Brewery Ommegang, which is a bit out of town so you wouldn't have to battle the throngs of your hated Yankee fans.

Drinking this, woke up to ac compressor not running. Luckily just got the capacitor replaced on the compressor, cold air again! 106 right now with the heat index. I see cold beer in the near future.

Ok. Bongo is now on my "ignore" button :). Altho Mariano is a class act. Tipping his cap to cheers on opening day at Fenway after blowing the playoffs making it possible for the Sox to win the World Series with a smile. One of the greatest

No man, don't put me on "ignore" until we've had a chance to discuss Superbowls 42 and 46!! :)

Seriously, Mo was so easy to root for. Not only was he a great player he was also very humble, respectful, and charitable, he also had (has) a great sense of the history of the game.

Cheers!!

Gotta respect when you heard Enter Sandman enter the game. I don't think he ever really got a lot of gruff from the Sox fans. Like you describe him plus just incredible talent. He just seemed humble and grateful. I was lucky enough to see him pitch here a bunch of times.

We're not that bad up here now after winning a WS after an 86 year drought. I can even remember with fond memories in '86 living in the Back Bay and jumping the fence a couple of times to watch the playoffs. Good times

1st named beer of the new Home brewery. Quad called Jack who past suddenly. He was a strong loving dog with a huge sweet heart of gold. 11%. Half kegged and half on tart cherries now. Also brewing another quad now to go into the barrel.View attachment 636625
To Jack! Pets definitely are family so I know it's tough. Water for now since I'm deck cleaning, but I toast Jack proper later[emoji482]

To Jack from the Delaware Seashore State Park! This is to our our furry four legged kids/friends who make our lives better and show unconditional love! They may be gone but never forgotten, for we don’t move on but instead move forward.
I know how you feel bud. I’m thinking of you @PianoMan!

Ommegang is close enough that I’ll go before I fly out. I’m pretty sure anything near Cooperstown is crazy this weekend.

HB Mango Lemonade. Thinking of naming these Sara after my 1st German Shepard as a child. She was always there, always reliable, never a doubt that any issues would arise. Best companion a child could ever have.View attachment 636630

I like the dog theme says the cat themed guy.

The beer that means summer to me.

Bottled HB, Irish Red Ale, 12 days in the bottle. Tasting a bit young, hopefully it'll round out a bit as it ages. Also kegged 5 gallons of it on the same day, and I'm thinking of trying a pint around mid-week. It's my first attempt at kegging. Tuesday it'll be in 2 weeks at 12psi @ 37 °F.
