I know a fair amount of people around here who knock 805. In my opinion though I think it's a pretty darn good blonde ale.
I first tried it on the dad trips to SLO. I don't normally buy it but there was a nice sample lady at the supermarket. It seemed like a good deal because, you know, I'm always thinking with my head!

Onto crappy stuff. The A/C is not cooling the house off properly. There is air flow but seems minimal. Checked all filters. Temperature out of the registers is running 60F which means delta-T is about right. But hit 77F inside. 🤔

1st of many...

HBT needs a "drooling" react button 🤤
That's this week's special. Every week from mon-thurs for $17 you get a lunch and a full pour. I try to stay away from pizza but on Tuesdays they do a pizza special that's crazy good for dinner.

The chef is pretty good. Last year they had a fresh fish connection and had some sushi and sashimi specials on salad. Really good. I'd like for them to have one big healthy item on the menu but those fries are hard to avoid.

OT: double oaked cock. Almost scotch like.

HB Pale Ale loosely based on Georgetown Manny's. I say loosely because I was low on hops, so it got dry hopped with some Citra along with Cascade. Quite tasty although a bit drier than I like. One of the three I'll be sending to the Washington State Fair in the next week or so.

Wheat Stout while grilling the Friday fish.
I left the green brush (unused) next to my glass and came back to find my 4 yr old painting the table with it. There was beer residue on the brush so I asked if he had dipped it in the beer. He was silent for a few seconds then said, "I'm not answering questions right now"
Also, the heat from a big flair up slightly melted my red bowl...

Here we are, the final episode of the 2025 Helles indulgence! Today we wrap up with my favorite Helles of all time, Hofbrauhaus Helles Lager!

This brew needs no introduction either – as the main brew served at the Munich Mothership as well as nifty and sacred regional beer temples such as the Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas – this is a fantastic and malty Helles.

Taste is perfection and features a Helles-perfect 4.9% ABV and a 19 IBU. This is one that is designed for chugging in large quantities! I’m in fact almost through this 500 ml/16.9 ouncer and I haven’t even touched my Bavarian pretzel! Perfect head, perfect lacing, perfect color, clarity and carbonation – I mean, what the heck else is there in life? I say soak it up – CHUG! Prost!

After those 2 delicious hamburgers, I've decided to go Vegan..for the rest of the evening. Thanks Stone for helping me!

Thanks @BongoYodeler. It was a bit over 1lbs low, no leak found. Bad capacitor, but not the starting cap. He had a bunch of cool Bluetooth gadgets. Once he found out I'm a technical person he explained what he's looking for and where the issues were. I still need to do some air handling coil cleaning this fall. He quoted $5000 for them to do it...thanks, but no thanks!

We had a stonker of a T-storm roll through around dinner time. Once the dishes were clean I went out and verified that the maintenance that I performed on my soft top's plumbing had worked and confirmed that I didn't have a footwell full of water. It was cooler and kinda nice, so I decided to steal a march on tomorrow morning and clean and condition the seats and the dash.

A glass of the new batch of Panther Piss to celebrate my industriousness and can do attitude.
