Hope things have settled down for you man!
Thanks, they have, lots of work in the fall when things stop growing and it's cooler out, but the important stuff is under control.
I just wrapped up kegging, so it's fermenter dregs off the bottom of the fermenter from my latest batch of Panther Piss. Crunchy!

Here's an odd ball. My youngest gave me a bottle of Absente last month. Well, trying out his recipe. My grandpa Bum in Lincoln always had a bowl of licorice in the house, 1970s-80s. This reminds me of those good times...all those decades ago.

Thanks for the heads up. We have a "specialty" drawer for that.Love me some absinthe. I like to do the traditional louche, with the ice water drip and sugar cube on a slotted spoon.
Keep that bottle in a dark place or it loses its nice green color.
I must have missed it, what are you brewing today?Done brewing

Finally decided on a 10% Belgian Quad. Mashed overnight while the yeast starter was doing it's thing. Mostly concerned about the heavy weight with my calf but managed to figure out ways to minimize lifting. Thanks for a asking!I must have missed it, what are you brewing today?
I've got a pale just about to start bubbling.

Put it in my crawl space, then you won't have the urge, it'll be safe there. Promise..Tried a preliminary bottle of my HB whiskey faux oaked RIS. Carbed 3 weeks. Very good aroma, good flavor, a little rough around the edges. Gets nicer as it warms in the glass.
I put the 2 cases of bottles in the crawl space to age a while. By end of year should be just right. If I can resist the urge to sneak a bottle once in a while.
