Because I can't wait 7 more weeks to have a HB Czech Pilsner.

Timing on this is perfect. I’m fairly certain I prefer a “lager” over a Pilsner, but want to settle it. I decided this would be THE Pilsner to stand against…maybe a Spaten lager. Yay/Nay?

Not beer (again), but tepache with spiced applejack. The blend is better than either by itself - the tepache came out too dry and the jack is sweet but too harsh.View attachment 817627
Thinking I might try tepache again. Only did it once and wasn’t too crazy about it. I’m fortunate though to have managed how to figure out how to grow pineapples in my backyard so I can make some mistakes w/o incurring cost.

I have found that I like it best by riding the line between bottle bombs and sweet carbed tepache. When it is dry and carbed it is yucky, but sweetening, letting it go one more day at room temp in the bottle, then chilling and drinking soon works nicely for me.

Lol I think you are setting yourself up to question your very existence. I love them both and would never choose one over the other.
