So I've brewed up a pretty damn tasty double IPA recently and decided to save some of the yeast slurry instead of buying a new pack for an APA coming up next. (Didn't bother washing the yeast, just slopped it into a tupperware container and put it in the fridge.)
It dawned on me an hour or two later that I failed to sanitize the container. Would there be any way to use this yeast without risking bacterially botching the next batch, or should I just abandon this yeast altogether? Any thoughts?
