John B has been advertising their burner with a 140k BTU output. I have re-tasked a pair of burners for brewing. Each side puts out 12.5 million BTU's and spits a 15+ foot flame. My calculations (with a 50% efficiency) show that I should be able to boil 5 gallons in around 5-7 minutes.

May John could give me some ideas as to controlling the flame and an idea whether his pot will take the heat! LOL
