One unspecified bottle of 3F OG, one glass that's an etre turd... $99.

This is the Belgium gueuze bottle that everybody wishes that they find sitting on a store shelf. Impress your friends (or hide the fact you have it from your friends). You will receive one 750 ml bottle and one crystal glass. Geuze, gueuze, lambic, sour and 3 Drie Fonteinen fans will want to add this bottle (and glass) to their collection. Makes a great gift too!

Sounds crazy but I don't think that is too far from the true value of that bottle. That is a really rare beer that didn't make it out into public from what I understand.

That, and LilOfTheWest is the only person selling any of those bottles, pretty much, and can name their price.

I was ISO this beer after seeing one sell for super cheap a few weeks ago, but no way in hell is this worth $500.
"If it's holding up like the other '96 barleywines I'm selling, it should be amazing"

I laughed

Probably for collector's purposes only vs. actually drinking. You could market as the original batch of one of the groundbreaking beers and the $500 doesn't seem that wild.

Then again, it says right there on the bottle, "this brew will age gracefully for years to come."

It's a fantastic beer, likely in the top 10 of 2015 for me. But if I had known it was worth $650, I may have decided to sell it for $649.
Top 10 beer of 2015 does not = $650!!!

If that was the case, I would have paid $100/bottle for a 6 pack of Born Yesterday (both this year and last year).

That is a special version of SNR. Someone can chime in, but that was aged in barrels of a first growth French Bordeaux from what I understand.
I had it about a year or so ago over at Two Roads brewery in CT. It wasn't very good at all. Super oxidized the fresher 2010 bottles are much better. Also the 2000's saw limited distribution in the U.S. They sat on my shelves at 16.99 per bottle back then when I used to own a Home D beer store in NY.

im assuming this is a stupid price and not worth it (dont really know), but what the **** does "imperial stout of the saison world" mean?

Its my understanding that in order to attract a buyer dumb enough to spend a digit more than any beer is "worth" one must create unique catch phrases to convey just how awesome ones **** is.
