I'm tempted to bid up that auction then refuse to pay so as to **** that guy over on the freshness of the cans.

Not implying it's necessarily a bad deal (don't feel like analyzing the whole list), but if anybody's ISO of 150 bottles of aged BigFoot, hit this guy up!
There are whales, whales that should be drank now, and some oxidized whales (like the Stone Vertical 03-03-03 and 04-04-04).
Julian, please.Huh, I looked through that list and didn't see a single thing I'd call a whale.
Anyone want to spend $3500 on 450 bottles of decaying shelf ****? At least he's not trying to bone you over a second time on the shipping though.

How many bottles of 3F OG could one order for $1700?

"Will make for an interesting tasting"
Who wants to knowingly pay for ****** beer?
Me, dead serious. That's one of the most appealing lots I've seen on MBC in awhile.
I'll be contacting that seller shortly to discuss the price and shipping with him.

(EDIT: "This beer is delecious and rare!")
I think it means dont think just buy it real fast.It may be buried 10 pages deep in thread (pardon my lazy entitled ass for not looking) but can anyone tell me what the **** a "flash sale" is?
I know Flash Flood, Flash Gordon, Flash Drive, and my personal favorite, the good old fashioned Nude Flash.
This is the epitome of why i hate beer sometimes. Some idiot will probably buy it.

What's the typical secondary on Ann?

Yipes, that good? I have a hard time believing any beer is worth that much $$$I've seen Ann go in the $800 range.

If what you want is status then the quality of the good doesn't matter, only its scarcity and perceived value. That's because none is.
Look at the prices for vintage lambics online, its ridiculous. We´re fast approaching the Whisky and Wine trading world.
That said I have a white whale that´s increasingly more difficult to justify holding on to, simply because I know there are people out there who will give me 2k$ for a bottle of old gueuze that means little to me compared to multiple cases of new gueuze...
Pretty much already there. KBBS is $1k. DQ is up to $3k. Blauw/Roze is $1.5k-1.8k. Loerik is $2.5k-3k

For 150$ I could pretty much fly to Brussels and buy one.
Especially when you can buy it from the source and ship it for less
