Here is my skylineish entry.
Lake Tahoe, CA (or possibly NV)?

Not Crater Lake. Tahoe is closer.
It doesn’t look like Lake Almanor as the mountains seem too close. I’m going to go further south and say Hetch Hetcy.

Yeah, bad guess. The walls of Hetch Hetcy look more like Yosemite.

No, but much closer.
Lake Arrowhead?
The mountains in the background are too high above the lake for Arrowhead or Big Bear.
Perhaps Dry Lake near San Gorgonio Mountain is not so dry after all the recent rain in CA?

@duncan.brown, you got it It is Dry Lake and San Gorgonio in the Transverse Ranges.
Staying with the lake theme for this one.

Narrowed it down to roughly 98% of the park. Excellent!

Schroon is too built up anyway. This looks more 'North Country'.

Paradox is in the 2% of the park that @DBhomebrew ruled out. It's in a less built up area, but not the middle of nowhere.

More development than Long Lake, which is pretty much a hamlet (and washed out right now, sadly!). But in the ADKs proper, rather than on the edge.

Looking South down the Eastern section of Lake Placid with the LP Marina on the far shore. One or 43 of the 46ers on the horizon. The boathouse in the foreground is on the Eastern shore of Hawk Island.
