We ate at pistolet like 4 times. The americain and the crab salad were delicious. Hope you bought some tierenteyn verlent mustard to go there!

Loved Pistolet as well; a nice treat right next to the cafe was the fry stand right down the hill - best fries I had in Brussels.

Drank a RdG ‘13 next to a RdG ‘16 last friday (both 375’s). What a difference!
‘13 was more amber/yellow coloured while ‘16 was very pinkish. Both had fairly the same amount of carbonation.
‘13 had a really full mouthfeel, a bit of sulfur and very soft raspberry. It was way down on the funk, but still had a nice acidity level.
‘16 had the classic cantillon funk, with lots of raspberries. It also was alot sweeter compared to the ‘13.
Both were good but I prefered the ‘13. I was amazed by how different they were with only 3 years between them.

Had an RdG, from the latest batch, on Friday. My word it was lovely. Aroma was an avalanche of raspberries. Palate bright and jammy with a perfect level of funk and acidity. I always think "this is the best RdG I have ever had" when I drink one but I am coming to realise that it is just a beautifully crafted beer, consistently. Never had an aged one before but I have a few away for safe keeping.

Caught up with a couple of friends I used to work with on Saturday night and the bar had bottles of the latest batch Iris (2016). These guys had never tried Lambic before but were keen so we bought a bottle. Wow, this was way better than I remember it being. Acidity and funk were absolutely perfect and it had a beautifully fresh and crisp floral note. If you were deciding on whether or not to dome one, do it. Tasting incredibly well! These guys are completely converted now and were whatsapp messaging me the next day asking where they could get Cantillon. Cute!

Had to refresh every screen through the checkout process but my card was charged and I have the record in PayPal even though I kept getting a 503 on the return from PayPal so I guess I’m good? Who knows.

You guys might as well keep trying....

I got all the way to the payment screen before the site **** the bed. Now its showing my cart contents but wont process the order. There is a timer, i have 30 seconds before my cart gets cleaned out and it goes back to being available for someone else.

42 euro for shipping 3 bottles? holy hell, $140ish for the package and shipping. im almost glad I got hosed here

I got the 503's a few times on checkout, but eventually the email receipt came, so hope I'm good.

There's nothing worse than when your backend fetch fails.

yea the server is timing out on requests so it may not be sold out, unless someone actually saw the product as sold out. I got to the paypal login screen hit, purchase, then it said it was sending me back to the site, then it crashed, but I got a receipt from paypal and cantillon so I think I got lucky.
