Was close to ordering... but I'm afraid of $100 of lambic-sicles frozen to my porch.

Any other northerners out there taking the risk?

I don't think that's much of a risk this time of year. I've been told it needs to be below 10 degrees for that to happen. That's very unlikely in November/Early December

Just glad one of these sales finally happened during my lunch hour.
42 euro for shipping 3 bottles? holy hell, $140ish for the package and shipping. im almost glad I got hosed here

Prior to this, I was staring at a cart with $400 in mead. I think I can trick myself into believing that I saved some money.

Hmm... I'd think freezing in the beer would still be around 25-30 and also time dependent. They ship in nice styrofoam shippers so I don't know how much insulation that provides...

The beer itself would freeze around 29 degrees. Sitting in a truck and in an insulated box helps. I'm only going off trading discussion where people say don't send if at any point in transit it will get below 10 degrees outside.

Pretty sure they're sold out. I spent about an hour refreshing etc etc, and actually finally got it to add to my cart, only to say crash when I tried to check out. Following that, no more success, each time it said the product is out of stock.

For science, I just tried this.

Ended up finishing the payment on PayPal, but then getting an error by the shop because my cart timed out during the payment process and it was empty again.

Seems like PayPal realized that, though, before charging me.

PayPal has been the biggest issue for me here. Got to that page just fine and it won’t load. Not sure if it’s worth it to continue trying but no official word from Cantillon on it being so old so might as well keep clicking refresh while I do other work.

Win some lose some. I do wish they’d silently put these up in the future so it’s not as much of a strain on the website.

Congrats to all who scored!

This gives bots the advantage, especially if they can order multiple packs.

Have you tried secondary sources? ;)

There really isn't a way I can think of to solve these problems. Maybe a strict retail maximum and just send it all out to shops? Even then, they could just keep them for themselves, not tell anyone they got them, under the table pay for play, etc..

Everyone still trying to slog through this sale, and all I can think is
