Man I know beer people really take **** way too far almost all the time, but everyone putting a “premium” on this batch of a&g or calling it honing is driving me insane(tbh I didn’t notice a massive difference between honing and regular OG as it was already, so there’s almost no way this batch can be markedly different than A&G). FWIW:

(Also nathanmiller not taking a shot at you trading for it, more the Facebook trades and razzles where they play up the HONINGGGG part)

Can someone go into more detail about these so-called "period lambics"? Sounds interesting.

wow that guy has a spreadsheet that includes detailed shipping cost breakdown to the US and list what bottles he has including 15 Zenne. I wished I never clicked on that post.
I thought you meant a 2015 released bottle of Zenne. Then I realized he actually has 15 units of ZyF available, wtf.

That guy is a ******* *******. He's everything that's wrong with beer. No wonder JVR, Armand, and Pierre are losing their **** and putting the clamp down.

Edit: now to find a way to curb the out-of-place mules.

I've been informed by Digita7693 that perhaps this was a poorly attempted joke.

I thought it was an excellent one.

Also today's sale, and the comments on Cantillon's FB posts, should dispel any myth (if there was one) that there's no European equivalent to newmoney.

I'm just picturing some guy in Belgium throwing up a Craiglist post for mules and gathering them in a lecture hall and giving them flash cards on which fruits go in which lambic in case they are questioned.

What about an American doing the same thing and asking them to send to the US?

It's a pretty new occurrence. Like in the last 12-18 months. The beer scene has gone from being a pretty close-knit thing where you'd go to a new city and you'd know someone who knew someone who'd end up inviting you to random events and tastings (usually through RateBeer) to a bit of a swamp. Instead of having to listen to Americans gloating about the trades they just won there's a whole new generation of younger European guys with the same mentality.

Does Craigslist have much use in places outside the U.S.? Know it is quite popular in the Bay Area and other large domestic cities. That is what popped in my head, then the secondary shirtlorde thought.
I don't think anyone in Belgium has ever heard of it.

I mean, I knew it existed, but not that it's available here.

I wonder if there was a way to only sell/serve their product on site at certain restaurants/bars. At least their specialty stuff. The online sales don't do dick to lessen after market stuff. Of course announcing bottle releases ahead of time exacerbates things too.

That being said, a bunch of locals complaining about a 15 minute wait to buy bottles to go is pretty laughable to this American.

There were not a lot of post on the Belgium craigslist when I went and searched, maybe 15 post over the last 10 days for the whole country under "Jobs". Does not seem very popular.
