Cuvée Lambikstoemper. One of my favorite geuzes. Heavy lemon notes with the funk coming out more as it warms. Cheers!
One of my favorites, just had one the other day and it's still superb, might be my favorite nose on any beer. I am super bummed that I never got one of those glasses. Oh well.

Is 2002 the first official bottling of Vigneronne (with real label, etc)? Any additional info on this one? Can't find anything on lambic.info

I opened a 26/03/2014 375ml 3F Oude Geize tonight that was absolutely phenomenal. So clean, lemony and fresh, but minerally and complex in the finish. One of the best 3F OGs I've had at that age - makes me want to hoard some now for a couple of years.

Obviously it's my last one and likely I won't see that date again.

Forgot to post about this at the time, but at the Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon Zwanze event in Arlon, there were 6 bottles on sale of Jean-Chris Nomad 2012 (Assemblage Cantillon). This was a blend based on the myrtle-infused blonde brewed at Thiriez in 2012 where the myrtle was much too strong due to a problem in the brew process - it got stuck in a filter during whirlpool, so had double the contact time intended.

From what I remember... Chris Gillard gave some of the unblended beer to Jean van Roy, who suggested transferring some to a Côtes du Rhône barrique and blending in some very young lambic, to take the herbal edge off the flavour profile. The blend aged for 2 years, was bottled in 2014, and has been maturing since.

Flavourwise - lightly tart, still quite strongly herbal, some cheesy funk getting going. Chris suggested another year or so would improve it.

makes me very happy to read that! I was lucky enough to bring back a box of that batch from the brewery. Still have 7 left and I was thinking about opening one for my annual christmas tasting this December, but I was not sure whether the sweet point will be missed... I think I'll definitely have to try one.

Yeah I just recently learned about this bottle after one of our new guys (Dave J.) uploaded it to the site. Really wish I could try it.

Was at 3Fs lambik-o-droom Saturday, was almost only me and my brother there. Had some nice beers (Schaerbeek Kriek and OGV'12), thought we would be able to get some food there, but that wasn't the case, the hunger went away after a couple of beers anyways. We took a coffee before we left and here's a picture of me (just a little starstruck) waiting for Armand to make me some coffee:

To make this more relevant to this thread, both beers were excellent but that OGV'12 was probably the best beer we had during our trip! To bad it was 'on-site' only.

Did they have the 75cl bottles of OGV?

Holy **** they're running out quickly of to go bottles

I don't understand why people freak out and think things are "sold out" at 3F and Cantillon. Both places have such a huge backlog of bottles and stagger what's for sale that nothing is likely to be sold out for a very long time. There were multiple cages full of seasons when I was there last time and thousands of bottles of AG were bottled. Just because they're not for sale doesn't mean it's sold out.

You're reading quite a lot into my post.
I'm surprised because I was there a week earlier and they had a shitload of 75 kriek and A&G left in the shop. Just surprised to see they sold that all in a week, especially since it hasn't been very busy the times I've been there.

Maybe they just put it all back into storage for a bit because they heard some ******* they don't like was coming to visit.
