So is this Mikkeller/Boon Vermouth gueze that is popping up going to get US distro? I was contemplating ordering a bunch of it but wasn’t sure if it’d be worth it if I’ll just see it on the shelf for $10 less in a few months.

Been wondering this exact same thing and been hoping it would get distro.

So...what is going on with this Bruocsella Brut? I understand it's a BXLBeerFest exclusive, but unclear on how it differs from Bruocsella. Can't tell if it's supposed to be carbonated or...extra dry?
As far as I understand it's a carbonated blend of 2 different 3 year old lambics. No idea how they carbed it

Not sure if there’s a better place for this, and as I’ve not seen this elsewhere...

Chris ‘Podge’ Pollard passed away last week - best known for his beer tours, running since 1994, and co-author of LambicLand (1st Edition 2004, 2nd in 2010) and Around Bruges in 80 Beers. He was taking groups on lambic tours long before the resurgence of the style, and his evangelism about Belgian beer over the past 25 years was passed on to a lot of younger folks like me through people who went on tours or drank with him.

Basically, yep. Though I thought the lambics were closer to four years old on it.

Blend of a local blonde beer of low abv and Lindemans lambic.
Sale starts early September.
First tasting of this blend was at the Lambikstoempers weekend.
I forgot to try it

Will hopefully have a label file soon but...

“Goyck is a collaboration between our Lambic brewery and Koenraad Goddeau, the man behind Toots (a local ale), resulting in a blend of a 12 months lambic and the high fermented beer Toots. Bottled in 0,75cl bottles (25.4 oz). ABV 5,5%”

This is why it sucks so much living in WA and the event being held on the same day as the AFL Grand Final. It is actually cheaper for me to fly to NZ and go to Zwanze there than it is to fly into Melbourne that weekend. ugh

ah, I never even considered that. I was stoked it was on grand final day. I'd usually have watched the grand final somewhere out of obligation, gotten too drunk by the third quarter and sat there wishing it was over so we could go do something else.

Now, hopefully, it means when 2.30 rolls around we'll still be in a relatively quiet place with a great taplist.
