I remember checking when I woke up before i jumped in the shower, that'd be about 5:45, and there was nothing. Then I checked when I let the dogs out and it was there. Around 6:15 or so. My reciept was marked at 6:19 CST and I remember it being like 50 of each at that point.

Then it didn't really move that fast assuming you are EST. My confirmation email is stamped 7:36.

Cheers;)

I still don't get why people love that Vin Jaune Cantillon so much.

I don't get why you keep espousing about why you hate it so much;)
To each their own, I've had each batch and loved them, one of my all time favorites; however, I also like the wine vin jaune, so there's that...

Dank basement, restrained/mellowed tartness, hay/straw, light malt, touch of honey and cognac...zero acetone.

Probably the least disappointing "whale" I've ever tried. I mean no bottle of that rarity is "worth it" IMO in terms of what it takes to trade for or buy it on open market, but it was at least legitimately special and not just hyped for rarity.

Anyone with experience aging Vigneronne have thoughts on the best time to open a cellared one? I've only had it fresh.

Got a 2012 Vigneronne that I'm not sure how long I want to cellar. Had 2012 St. Lam recently it was doing great. So, I'm wondering if the same would hold true for Viggy.

Yes, the answers yes! Anytime you ask yourself should I open that bottle, the answers yes!

Personal preference: st lam ages better, vig can get really acidic, but not always. Just more of a crap shoot with older bottles.

I really love Vig right around 3 years in the bottle.

As always, YMMV
