3 gallons that were brewed, keg and consumed, and 2.5 gallons I started yesterday.

336+5.5=341.5 gallons

Done quite a few just have not added to the group. 5 gallons sour cherry cider cuvee (drunk), 5 gallons of graff, 5 gallons of sour cherry jam cider on nottingham sludge dry hopped with Mosaic, 5 gallons sour cherry s-04 and 5 gallons of sour cherry cuvee

341.5 + 25 = 366.5

5 gallons unknown with Renaissance Fresco yeast
5 gallons transparent with Mangrove Jack

396.5 + 10 = 406.5

6 gallons Orchard Juice cider (unknown apple blend) fermenting with WLP775 to be consumed Fall of '21

406.5 + 6 = 412.5

well, i decided to experiment with this batch a bit....i was looking at the yeast cake from my (trying salvage beer, which was a very light stout....no pun intended, lol)

and i wondered what a little roast barley flavor would be like in a cider, so on went the reason for this post!

412.5+10=422.5

5 gallons of 80% apple and 20% cranberry cider
422.5 + 5 = 427.5 gallons

Are people really keeping track? I'm new at this, and this is what I have going so far:
4 gallons with purchased Louisburg cider, with SafCider and Premium Ciderhouse yeast, started July 30
3 gallons from my own apples (Enterprise, Liberty & Jonafree), with SafCider yeast, started Aug 15
11 gallons from my own apples (same as above, plus Dolgo crabs), with Red Star Cuvée and Red Star Côte des Blanc, started August 23
7 gallons from my own apples (same as above), with Belle Saison yeast, started August 31

So...25 gallons altogether so far. I figure on one more pressing. I sure hope at least some of this is decent.

This is a running talley of what everyone who participates has made. So...

429.5 + 25 = 454.5

Forgot to add another 2.5 gallons, in my “yeast wars”.

542 + 2.5 = 544.5

24 gallons, apples from our mini-orchard, last Sunday. It should nicely complement the 24 gals. of melomels I did in Feb. But now I need a couple more cases of 750s :D

My modest contribution comes to almost 2 gallons.

633.5 + 1.75 = 635.25

667.75+22= 689.75

16 from a local orchard, added some acid to make it more similar to last year's quality. Tried 2 different white wine yeasts (ec-1118/red star) to see differences. Only added 1/2 of the sulfite I did to start out last year, which will give me some more room at the end to play around without risk. Plan is for most of these bottles to age for 6 months, but one five gallon batch to go for 18 to see what changes flavor wise.

6 of Simply Apple brought down to 3.2 ph to make it more tart and prepare it for a demi-sec finish. No sulfite to start as this juice is pasteurized. The sugar content is pretty low and I may add some more to boost the SG + alcohol content.

6 gallon batch with D47
1 gallon batch hopped cider, BE-134 Yeast, 6 grams Cascade thrown in 1 week prior to bottling
1.25 gallons graff

696.75+8.25=705 gallons

I started 6 today. That brings it up to 22 for the year.

705 + 3 (Kees) + 22 = 730 gal.

I still have 5 gal. in a keg and 5 gal. in a carboy from 2019.

A bit late, but did another gallon back in August of Great Value w/1c sugar and ~2.5 gr of Nottingham. Tried a bit of conditioning yeast with the 1.5oz of sugar for carbonating, already bottled and in fridge. Turned out Great!

730 + 1 = 731

I just started 4 gallons this past weekend. One D47, one S04, one M02 and one Nottingham to see which one, or ones, I like the best. Here's to beginner cider making!

766 + 4 = 770
