I have 100 gallons fermenting from the 2019 apple crop. The juice was very high quality (SG in the 1.062-1.070 range) so I am cautiously optimistic.

These are all carry overs from late 2019 but I estimate I have about nine gallons in process now.

Last year's thread stated that the rules are for when you started the batch, i.e. pitching the yeast between Jan 1, 2020 and Dec 31, 2020. So for me, I've only started one gallon last Saturday. Making some super high octane which I'll probably turn into Jack. Does that count?

Just started my first batch of the year last night. 3 gallons of pure Goldrush Cider from the local orchard and 2 gallons of their regular mix cider. I used some washed 71B yeast from my last batch in it. The last batch started in November using the same mix is currently in my keg with 1 can of FAJC. Already have had a couple pints and it is the best cider I have made. The wife likes it too.

Not sure how many gallons that puts us at for the year but whatever it is add 5 more.

Just writing this to update the running total, that convention had been overlooked in a few posts.

126 (cillathomasm and earlier)
+ 3 (GeneDaniels1963)
+ 9 (Nick Z)
+ 1 (teddyearp)
+ 10 (theinterneti)
+ 3 (Tancred the Brewer)

= 152 is the current running total. I leave it up to others to adjudicate who's batches started last year. Not mine, for sure!
Before we get too lost in drink . . . . Actually Tancred the Brewer started 5, so from there it is 154.
154
+ 5 WRFarm
+ 5.5 kacey1973
= 164.5 so far

Wow, us cider makers are over 100 gallons. I'd like to throw down 6 gallons of cider for the 2020 season tally. Do cyser's count? Everything is dry hopped. Hallertau Blanc, Mosaic, Citra, and some homegrown Cascade (2019 harvest). Glory be to the apples

Put another gallon of Great Value on top of my last cake of EC-1118 with 1-1/4 c sugar for OG 1.08.

180.5 + 1 = 181.5

Well, I've been a bit lazy. Sunday, I bottled a gallon that I had started two weeks prior. Didn't take any reading(s), too lazy and so much sanitizer in the air it seems that I didn't make a batch of Starsan. My carboy had been sanitized and sealed after last use, my utensils had just been washed a day or so prior. Did my usual EC-1118 recipe but used only a can of FAJC, thawed, for bottle carbing.

Also started a batch for Jack. I put three dang cups of reguar sugar and even 1/2 cup of dextrose and only got the SG up to about 1.12. Maybe measured wrong on my first batch. Thought I had a 1.14 with only 2-2/3 cup table sugar in about the same amount of juice. Anyways . . .

268.75 + 2 = 270.75 👌🌵🍎🍏

Made another 5.5 gallons yesterday, and will make 5.5 gallons this afternoon or evening (carboy has cleaner in it right now).

298.75 + 5.5 + 5.5 = 309.75

First brew was pitched last Thursday.
6/4 - 1 gallon of North Coast Organics (1.050) + 1 can FAJC = (1.064)
6/5 - 1 gallon of Target Brand Concentrate (1.050 + 1 can FAJC = (1.64)

Wanted to try the difference between the unfiltered stuff in a glass jar and the cheap stuff. Kicked it up a notch with some concentrate. Used dry Red Star Blanc yeast in each.

I started 2 test batched 2 weeks ago.
Both with Cote de Blanc.

1gal of 100% plain Walmart juice.

~1.5gal batch FAJC + extra juice the latter. Threw in ~2# of shredded frozen apples in mesh bag.

316.75 + 1 + 1.5 = 319.25 gallons

Add another two. (experimental "bought"juice. 50% Pink Lady and 50% Granny Smith with SO4). One batch will be dry hopped. 2/3 of each batch will be fully fermented, the rest bottled at 1.010 and heat pasteurised at 2atm (hoping for 1.004-1.006 FG). Man, my head hurts from trying to keep track of what I am doing! Of course this is all in the interest of science.

Finally decided to start another batch. Used another 3 qt bottle of Great Value with so little more added as to maybe finally get this to an even number? So a little over 3 qts, 2.2 gram Nottingham, 1-1/3 cup sugar.

333.25 + .75 = 334
