Gelatin in primary?

Has anyone ever tried it? Personally, if someone isn't harvesting the yeast, I don't see why it wouldn't be ok. But thought I would ask if someone else has done it first.
 
I do it all the time. I ferment in primary for 3 weeks, then cold-crash for a day and dose it with the gelatin. I then rack straight to a keg, unless it's an IPA, in which case I rack it to a 5g carboy, warm it up to room temp, and start the dry hop.
 
Okay...thanks guys. Doing a pumpkin beer this weekend, and want to keep it in a primary. Just didn't know how well it works.
