312 Dry Hop on draft is even better than the cans I had last year.

If AB / INBEV / Goose / etc... keeps putting this out on draft ($4 pints!?!?) they might win me over (feeling dirty I drank a few $4 312 Dry Hops over the $5 Imperial Oak Czech Your Head this evening at Brixies).

It's very tasty, and combined with the weather today had me dreaming of Spring.

I'm in the same boat as you - we are hoping to snag a Gallery seating for our 10th anniversary in August and I wanted to see how quickly tables go when Tock opens up the reservations. I was f5'ing on 2/15 @ 11am and was surprised at how fast things booked up. All the Gallery seatings for April were gone within a few minutes, but a weekend Salon seating should be doable if you get on relatively quickly. Definitely recommend you do that test run on March 15th, and let me know if you come up with any tips.

Good luck!

Did the test run and Gallery seatings were gone within a minute, but I could have booked one if I wanted. Hope I have similar luck next month for the real thing. Salon seatings were still available too which is solid.

Ran into Mariano’s last night for milk last night and came across a stack of KBS. I haven’t bought any for awhile because it just lost it for me, but I couldn’t resist. Felt like it was 2010 again and just happened to be in a place at the right time.

It’s still not good. I can’t think of a better example for me of struggling to determine whether it fell off or if all the others got better.

Had a HA Smoking Gull has on draft. Hazy pale ale that I found very tasty. Light and smooth but hoppy with a nice bitter/pine and fruity/juicy combo.

Was charged $9.... for a 16 Oz pint. Is that the going draft rate for these haze? Discuss.

I see a lot of 12oz/$7, so yeah. I think I posted something about this awhile back when Mikerphone was charging the equivalent of $10+ a pint on some of theirs. I don’t go to half acre much anymore, but I remember also being a little put off by their draft prices on-site. When retail prices are $4-$5 a pint in cans, I guess this is 2x give or take.

I think Hubbard’s Cave is $7 a pint for most of their hoppy stuff on site, which is about right for me. Don’t think $9-$10 is either worth it just based on quality in most cases, or sustainable long term with number of options now.

That seems high for Smoking Gull since they only charge $13 for the 4 pack. HA is at $7 for a pint of it at the taproom.

But yeah, in general it seems like $8-$10 is the going rate for 16oz of haze out at bars.

I have nothing to add other than to say that Smoking Gull is ******* incredible.

went out for dinner in GB Friday night. the only thing cheaper than $7 was Spotted Cow. everything else was between $7 - $12 for bottles & $8 - $16 for drafts.

Stopped into Corridor to meet a friend before a show at Schuba's the other night and the only haze they had on was $10 for a 13oz pour, which I found to be quite steep for a 6.5% IPA....and quite the increase from the last time I was in there a couple months ago.
