Welp regardless I can’t make it. Boooo. Everybody drink it all for me.
Well, sure - for the regular folks.

But for us privileged few, we get to have early access and a release party the day before, right? It's nothing you would ever advertise and if anyone happened to be there, they could naturally attend. It's not exclusive or anything.
This won't get you everything you want, but I think there's about 12 or so tickets left if you don't mind donating $10 to a food pantry, which is doubled by us: https://revbrew.com/shop/early-preview-of-the-deep-wood-series-rev-rewards-members-only

Also, the following places will have both on tap the night before the release:

Yep. There might be 1 or 2 375s of 2013 mp boon at lp binnys but the 750s of 2011 and 2013 seem to be gone from binnys and all the bigger beer spots; im only seeing 2014s now

7 or 8 MP 2013 getting all dusty at Niles Binnys. Right next to the Black Label and Discovery Packs.

Glad folks are having fun at the event. I noticed a couple of the breweries (using this term loosely here) that got licensing for the event are going to try to stick around and are having launch events. I have noticed Superstition (launch party at Burger Antics brunch from 11-3 tomorrow) and Casey (launch party at Local Option starting at 5P tomorrow).

Anyone else sticking around anyone has noticed?

Far and away was a v good fest. Saison gratis was def a highlight. Was initially skeptical because for the first 10 minutes there was only one person scanning tickets but that was resolved pretty quick. I spent entirely too much money at reckless on the way home.

Only hype line I stood in was Casey. It was fine. Wouldn’t do so again, Too much other good **** on.

Whoever said Saison Gratis was the best beer should buy a lottery ticket because he was freaking right. It’s like Arthur and Saison Bernice having a baby with super powers.
YOU'RE WELCOME.

Loved the BBA'd brown ale from Holy Mountain. That was my favorite of the day. Also loved their Offertory. SARA and Crooked Stave's gin-BA'd beers both were solid too. Benthic was probably the best stout I had, too.

Gross: Modern Time's Fellowship of Xul and Wakefield's Boss Tycoon.

Agreed on this one too, so good.

Flying in this afternoon. Anyone got any info on where some leftovers from yesterday may be found?

Also, good coffee spots?
I’ll be up in the Logan Sq/Avondale area at some pt today.

Beer Temple still has stuff on from their event on Friday. The Beer Temple's Draft Beer Menu on Untappd http://untp.beer/f3463f1da4

Hopleaf is tapping stuff today from out of state breweries that were at Far & Away

Gaslight Coffee and Passion House Roasters are my preference in Logan Square.

Phenomenal fest and even better it was local and required only an Uber and a ticket. Was worth the price of admission and more, IMO.

The crowds were solid but not so much that you couldn’t move. My only gripe was the music was a little loud in the tent but the jams were good.

Here’s to hoping this sticks around for many years to come.

Looks like I have a well-timed visit from the MIL that will prevent me from making the VSOJ/Code Switch release. With a limit of 2 each, I'm guessing they'll sell out.

If any of you FIBs happen to be going to the event and happen to be wanting to buy under your limit, I'd be happy to reimburse you on a "go pick it up for me bro" of either one. Will gladly pay a handling surcharge.
