DFH 120 clone questions.

Hi,
Hope this is the right sub forum for this question, was sure where it fit best. anyways

Hopefully in the next month or so, a few of us are going to have a brewing party/BBQ, and what we are going to plan on brewing is this DFH120 clone.

I'm about to order some of the ingredients, but one thing I'm not quite sure of since I've never needed to do a starter before.

What type of DME do I need for that recipe?

Also is this the closest recipe there is to the real thing? or is there a better one out there?

You don't want to change the flavor with your starter so you use the lightest color DME that you have available.

120 is a very challenging brew to try to clone. I'd stick to something easier, especially if you have to ask about a starter. 90 min would be much easier.
