Hello, my local home brew store only carries crystal malt 40L. I have several recipes that call for higher crystal malt 60L and even 120L.
I had an idea, if a recipe calls for crystal 60L and the color is 6.2 srm. I use crystal 40L and enough chocolate malt to achieve the SRM's. Is this correct?, or how can i substitute these malts?
