In doing a newbie keezer build I've come across differing advice on the diameter recommendations for gas and beer lines, along with the accompanying equipment.

For my keezer I'll be using three taps. The gas distributors come in two sizes:

1/4" http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/...3-way-co2-distributor-w-1-4-barb-shutoff.html and

5/16" http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/...-way-co2-distributor-w-5-16-barb-shutoff.html

I don't know which way to go. Please help.

I'm using pin lock kegs with the following connectors. Does this mean I should be using 1/4" throughout and not bothering with 5/16"?

For gas line, the size that fits is fine as the size (including the length) doesn't matter.

For serving beer, you need 3/16" lines for the serving (beer) lines. 10' is a good place to start of regular 3/16" beverage tubing.

Use 1/4". Most barbs are 1/4" for homebrew use. Most commercial systems use 5/16"
