Anvil Foundry Steam Condenser Sprayer Valve

I just upgraded my Anvil Foundry with the Steam Condenser. As I’m running through an initial water test, I’m finding that the plastic sprayer valve does not thread very well with the steel condenser nozzle cap and it’s leaking water. I’m afraid to tighten it too tight as it might strip out the plastic threads on the sprayer valve, but too loose is obviously not going to work either.

How tight can I twist the sprayer valve to the condenser nozzle cap without stripping the threads on the plastic valve? Does anyone have first hand experience with assembling and using the steam condenser on the anvil foundry?

To clarify, it is not misthreaded, but it’s to the point where I don’t want to torque it much more.

Without knowing just which condenser you have it's hard to say what the issue is but have you considered thread tape?

Did you use teflon tape on the threads?
