Anvil Foundry Leak

I’m sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, but here goes.

I’ve had my Foundry for a couple years now. For some reason, water is leaking out of the bottom, right where the metal meets the rubber bottom.

After a bit of reading, I discovered that many people were able to fix this by tightening the ball valve. I did this, and used a wrench, but this is still happening. What could it be?

It looks like there's a gasket that's crawling out of its home. Can that be fixed?

I think I have found the issue…

Not sure how that happened.

Update:

Teflon tape rules.

I *think* this will work as well as a new gasket until I get one. So far, so good.
