Not sure why, but I've always wanted to tie a string to a pair of heels and huck 'em over the power lines.

Granted, I didn't look very hard.. but that's what I was looking for to post as his shoes. Settled for that. I'm not good at funny.

In the ghetto it was a symbol of a drug dealers 'turf'. If you saw multiple shoes strung up like that, it was part of a group or a hotly contested corner. We only ever had a few at a time strung up.
It could just be an urban legend for all I knew. I hung out with a different crowd

Urban legend definitely.

I think it's actually a sign of ******** kids.

Anybody that could afford that many pairs of shoes was definitely in the wrong area lol. I remember going to school from 86 to 90 with the same pair of school shoes...toes tucked SUPER uncomfortably into tiny shoes.

Pretty much. Either that or there's a dealer working out of the parking lot of the elementary school by my house.

That was certainly the case for our area. The main area where the shoes were located were by a school/school yard. A year or so after I left the area was plagued with drive by shootings.

Yeah and we were told they'd throw a pair on the wires when they got home from prison. Just happy to not live anywhere near hanging shoes now. I have a hard enough time dealing with the Thug Lyfe squirrels eating all my sunflowers. I will be gifting myself a new air rifle this year. He better be prepared.

There's no nefarious activity that I can detect. I live in the whitest white town that ever whited. Even the dope slangers are white.

Sounds like my town. A few years ago the football team got in trouble when before an away game they threw tortillas at the crowd.

Other town is poorer and mostly Hispanic for those of you who are a little slow.
