I played a lot of video games when I was really young. I'm talking about Atari 2600. Through High School, I didn't really play much. We did have a Nintendo (would that have been a 64?) and I played a lot of SuperTechmoBowl with my older brother and occasionally played other stuff, but I wasn't really into it. In college, we had a Sega (Genesis?) and we would play a lot of fighting games and hockey. One of my roommates would play Super Mario for hours. Then, I probably went from...oh, maybe 1995 - 2003...without playing any sort of video games. When my first kid was born, in 2004, my wife got me a PS2 so that I had something to occupy me when I had baby duty. I played a **** ton of GTA Vice City and Madden. I then got GTA Sand Andreas and played that a lot...as well as a SpiderMan game that came out when the second Toby McGuire movie was out. But I again went pretty much without video games from maybe 2006 until very recently (just got a PS4 at Christmas this year), with the exception of playing with the kids on the Wii.

Thanks to all who entered... while I couldn't bring home any sweet bling, I had a great time and thought that it was pretty anti-climactic to have the contest just fall on its face as well. A consolation prize is more than I got, so let us all revel in the friendliness and consider it payment for all of the words of encouragement I received.

I put your names in a spreadsheet in the order you entered the competition and ran a RNG from 1-29.

I spent many nights semi-broke in the barracks with a sixer of cheap beer, a pint of whiskey and good ole diablo 2 on my hodgepodge computer.
Good times

I just remembered something. During my final semester of college, my roommate bought the first Windows based PC that I ever used on a regular basis (see, I am old) and I played a bit of Doom on that thing while procrastinating over finals.

hmmm, wonder when we will hit 30k. At present rate I think it would be a fair assessment that we are doing more then 10k posts in a calendar month.

Woo! Hopefully this isn't a plot to get my address and send it to Hunter.

Woo! @blizzard
I'll dig into the cellar tonight. You sent me half of it. This one's tough.
