I love my kindle. It's, beatup and scratched like flock but still works great. For travelling, accept no substitute.

I got the paperback used copy (because I'm cheap) along with a Lawrence Krauss I've been meaning to read for ages. No spherical cows but should be a good read.

Kindles are great. No more lugging around a bunch of books when I travel. No more heavy boxes of books and bookshelves when I move. Mine's nearly 5 years old and still works great.

Yes. I personally think she decided too quickly. Especially since she's going through some postpartum depression right now that would be affecting her mentally.

Also, her sister is a complete see-you-next-thursday and guaranteed is partially responsible for convincing her of this course of action.

I wanted to get one.. I had all these grandiose ideas that I would start reading again. That thought soon passed. I did buy a Kindle Fire HD for my wife and she loves it. If I could afford to travel, I'd make sure to get one. Cosmic Religion and The World as I See It are the only two books that exist on my 'want to read' list right now.

I won't have time to brew anything between now and then and I'm going to be scrambling like crazy to get my poop in a group for the move. I won't be checking HBT as often as I usually do from now on, since I have a real job and all, but I want to say thank you to all you awesome guys and gals who have taken my homebrewing to the next level, and have provided some relief from the boredom of a sh*tty job.

Thanks man, the new job is shipping nuclear fuel logistics and engineering. So I'll be learning a lot of new skills and traveling all over the world. I had to make the exit from this job amicable because I'll still be in the same circle as my current bosses, and I may have to work with them again. New bosses are pretty laid back so I may be able to check in more than I think, but I need to bust my a** to make sure they are happy with their new hire haha

I hope the south isn't too bad, at least up up in the foothills of the App mtns and 1 hr from the AT trailhead.
