Just bought supplies for Steak Toaster. Decided to go partial mash because 17 lb. grain bill scared me. Cut that back to 13 or so and subbed 4 lbs DME. Better work or he's fired. Grabbed some oak chips because oaked is better than not oaked.

(Steak Toaster is just this KBS recipe. Shhhh)

SOJA is not Jamaican oldies. A pox on that new school dancehall sh***, and on woodpile daydrinking smackedness.

I can't smell anything but fish. This stuff is nasty. Can't say I wasn't forewarned. But it should be far more effective at clearing my casks than the premixed stuff was. And it's mixing far easier than I expected.

Also, I used to use Elmer's Glue on the aforementioned 10" blue mohawk. Hair gel, hair spray, even egg whites couldn't get the job done.
