Hey. Welcome to my way of life. I get myself into those situations almost daily. Really kinda starting to hate people.
Starting,
Oh, to be young again!

And that's why there Diablo 3. You can just get drunk and kill monsters in peace. It's great.
Granted we didn't get a lot of snow (2-3") but I couldn't believe there was no one out pulling doughnuts last night. I've taken my boys 2 or 3 times this winter and haven't seen another person or even a track. 3 different places too. Either I don't know about the secret sledding spot, or no one does that with their kids anymore.
Drinking water at work if anyone cares.
just remember: ain't no undergrad going to what what that **** is!
So, if you're staying in downtown San Francisco for work without a rental car, what is a cost-effective way to get to Russian river? Doesn't look like an easy way via mass transit and uber/taxi would cost a fortune. Looking like I'll have to rent a car for a day??
FTFY.
Hey - Austin-ites and locals: gonna be down in San Antonio for Spring Break (week before Easter), and am planning to visit Austin for two days (one night). Any particular area I should be looking to stay/visit? I will have a 15yo and a 6yo in tow, so can't necessarily go every place I might go on my own.

Check out Franklin BBQ if you want to stand in line for hours on end while your kid cries and you wait for them to run out of food.
Check out Capitol City Trap & Skeet if you want to experience the thrill of getting Dick-Cheneyed by some hipster who's never held a gun before.
Check out Sixth Street if you want to get thrown up on by a drunk sorostitute.
Mroing.

I had a rental car for that. Golden gate is a toll road so you have to pay for it. Depends renting or uber is the cheaper option. Probably rent for a day

Wow. It will be interesting to see how this goes. If it's successful, it might slow the BMC acquisitions.

So they're like the Tired Hands of food?
Water. I'm like a ninja in the office today - nobody seems to know I'm here so I'm getting a lot of work done!

I avoid all that. Havent been the the trap and skeet yet but I know how to fire a gun. Franklins is over rate and never worth waiting in line though I havent had anything from them. I rather drive to luling, TX for great BBQ

Chez Nous is a great French resturant just off the hubbub of 6th. Great food, good beer selection (Fin du Monde last time I was there) and nice atmosphere.
Also Salt lick BBQ is great. A bit outside the city but woth the drive. It's BYO but they do have beer and wine there too. The food is great. Fantastic place to eat drink and relax.

That's what I figured. Was hoping there was some other mode of transportation I'd never heard of that was cheap, fast, reliable, and convenient. Haha.

Was never that impressed by the actual food at Salt Lick, but worth going for the atmosphere. Favorite in Austin was La BBQ, but would always go on the earlier side and weekday lunches to avoid lines.
I'm no expert when it comes to BBQ. I really like it though. The place is really relaxing.
