I've been giving wild yeast fermentation a try as well. Stepped up as far as 1 gallon, but the smell from the airlock is vinegary. Could be just yeast that soured after a blowout I had early into fermtation, but I don't have high hopes for it. Hope yours smells better than mine.
 
Awesome. I'd say you have something for sure.
I'm not super technical so I wouldn't want to say what exactly you have.
I did the same thing in spring. I stepped it up for about a month and then pitched into a 1 gallon 1.040 blonde ale.

It's been sitting in my basement ever since.

Have you done wild yeast harvesting before?
 
Yeah there's a great deal of really useful information on that site. They even have "wrangling kits" to help you jumpstart the process.
