I made a pumpkin beer today. I feel like I need to get on my knees and pray for forgiveness.

Partial Mash
8 oz 6 row
8 oz Crystal 60
8 oz carapils
8 oz flaked oats
rice hulls

60 minute mash

3.3 # Briess CBW Golden light LME
2 # Muntons light DME

1 oz chinook 11.5A
1 oz EKG 5.2A
Boil x 60 minutes

Split boil

1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp pumpkin spice powder
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Added half the spice ix with five minutes left in boil, saved the rest to adjust to taste

Nottingham yeasties.
1.046 going into the fermenter.
Smells like pie.

One month to go. Beer lineup coming together.

64 Triple D. (8 oz of assorted aroma hops grooving on top. I used Steve Andberg's Double D, because it's Damned Drinkable, as the inspiration and beefed it up a bit to a Double Double D. 1.064 OG. Who doesn't like Triple D's?)

The house smells really good today.

What, you afraid no one else is going to show up, either? Give it to Smurph and call it good, Lord knows the blue bastard's earned it for putting up with your **** all these years.

If you slap Mort's jockey box on top of the trophy, I may show up.

After all, you pinky swore that if I ever show, I'm the winna.

And I need a jockey box. And could use few bucks from the scrap metal recycling place.
