Money sent. Thanks for doing this!!
Crown Coffee was delivered today. I have it all packaged up and managed to include a small cupping roast for everyone. Although light, it should be a crowd pleaser and give everyone an idea if they want to increase the acidity by shortening the roast/ending lighter or going the opposite. Would love to hear your thoughts good/bad/ugly
The sample is 22g coffee intended for 350g brewing water.

PS - some folks sent shipping info & payment with different options through PP. I am doing my best to get you your tracking info. Coffee will go out tomorrow and should arrive by Thursday if all goes well.[/quote]

Opened the mailbox tonight and there was a large USPS envelope. Huge disappointment when it turned out to be something for the wife. Just checked the tracking # and it looks like tomorrow is the day. I'm sure I'll be roasting some tomorrow night with the help of my CRC crew (Coffee Roasting Cats).Spoiler alert:

Testing out the camping gear for a trip in October. Kalita and pourover are going on the trip. I'd get one of those fancy jetboil backpack cookers, but you're not gonna get a frypan and a big bass or northern on there. I had this one stowed in the corner of my attic for quite some time.
Maybe the jammin ethy beans will make the trip?

Side note I wrap wood chips in tin foil on my little grill like that.
Passed, that should be a great setup. When I was camping earlier this year we put a percolator over the campfire. The first morning it worked great, boiling water in about 5 mins but the second morning it took a good 15 or 20 mins.
I was up north with some friends at a cabin a few weeks ago. We made crap coffee in a standard drip machine (ehhh, I wasn't going to try to brew home roast for 8 dudes who aren't the most...sophisticated bunch), but there's nothing like sitting around a campfire with friends enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning.
I got my package too!!
Inspired by the smell of the coffee he roasted coming from the package the cats and I got to work. We did two 1/4 lb batches in a row in the Behmor trying to follow the graph @jammin had posted for this exact bean. We hit FC at 7:30 and pulled to cool a minute? later.
We then stepped up to a 1/2 lb batch with FC at 10 minutes. This bean smells amazing green and roasted is WOW!!! Thanks for doing the leg work!
I'll be taking some to work in the morning to share with my coffee buddy.

Thanks @jammin , this is a whole new world of coffee to me.
When you posted about this coffee being a berry bomb I had no clue of what was to come. I weighed out 70g this morning to take to work and ran it through the grinder......WOW!! BLUEBERRY and berry and more berry. Anyone who walked through the break room (were I have my own pot with a "NACHO COFFEE")sticker on it made a comment about the aroma. The coffee itself had a slight acidity to it and a very.....berry flavor to it...something I've never experienced before. Dag Nabit, now I see an expresso machine in my future.
The wife is back in town tomorrow and is gonna love this!
Love to ya brother and all the best this weekend!
Jeff
Tried to get sunshine city in pic but the light made one coffee look way lighter. The dark would be perfect for espresso I think. These are like 20 seconds apart if that.
@trickydick - remind me to give your ad a bump in a few days if it doesn't sell. I've had an account there forever and will vouch for ya
what happened with your roast? i didn't get any of that coffee. the seller spoke very highly of it
