I've been getting foamy beers for a while now. I figured it was due to a 4-foot line, so about an hour ago I changed it out to an 8-foot line, and also lowered the serving pressure to around 8psi. I'm still getting tons of foam (see picture). Any suggestions?

The regulator ended up stabilizing, but I realized I was hearing a slight hissing sound. Put some soapy water on the pressure release valve and there it was.

Appreciate the feedback. Looks like I now have a leaky pressure release valve, so going to have to figure out how to fix that.

Good question. The recipe just said "Black Patent Malt," and they had a bin full of something by the same name, so that's what I grabbed. I actually didn't check that number. I've never had to grab the grain myself (I usually just order online,) so this is a good reminder to ask that next time.
