.... when my wife opens our bedroom closet and there is a conical fermenter in there.... fermenting beer.![]()
The only problem I see with that is a possible concern of temperature control in the closet.

It was the coolest place in our double wide trailer, an even 70F Just select the right yeast. The only problem I see with that is a possible concern of temperature control in the closet.
When you have spent way more on brewing equipment then you can ever hope to make up for in beer consumed in your lifetime...but say "what the hell" and buy some more new equipment.
/cheers
Man I must be lucky, my wife loves beer glasses and has a collection of her own. They take up an entire cabinet in the kitchen, prime real estate in a large corner cabinet between the sink and DW.When your wife says "its time you buy a cabinet for the garage for all your damn beer glasses. there is no more room in the kitchen." followed by "do you really need all those different glassware shapes just for beer?"
[Raises his hand and says "guilty!"]
I would say that I am even with my present rig that has not changed significantly in 5+ years.
But... I do have my eye on going electric with a 3 vessel automated system. That would set me back for years at least if not my lifetime....
This one was recently.
You know you're a homebrewer when you know you need to buy a new motorcycle battery but decide you need to finish the keezer first because, you know... the bike's been running pretty smooth after that 4th jump start. And then you find yourself stuck on the side of the road because the battery died after you stopped to take a picture.
But hey, at least there was some ice cold draft beer at home after my dad rescued me and towed the bike back to my place. Motorcycles/Cars and Homebrewing are difficult hobbies to juggle.
You're walking on a beautiful beach looking at the sea foam, and say to yourself, "Man! Look at the head on that!" and start thinking about what it is in the water that lets it do that.
Protein a.k.a fish poop. Check out “protein skimmer” on saltwater aquariums. It’s nasty.
